Introductory Station

Here the visitor can find a sample of the diversity of the Ria Formosa ecosystems and several suggestions to visit the Park.

The interpretive pedestrian walk through the Park has an average length of one hour and thirty minutes, with an extension of about 3km, but if you have enough curiosity to explore all this natural habitat, it can take twice the time, contributing to such a nice strategically built wooden huts to quietly observe all the characteristic fauna of the Park. Visitors to the Ria Formosa Natural Park can visit a Roman IV century station, a tide mill, a tuna boat, a bird watching observatory, an aquarium, the Poeta João Lúcio's Chalet where an Ecoteca is currently operating. Bird Recovery Center (RIAS).
