RIAS

The purpose of this center is to rehabilitate injured or captive animals with a view to their return to the wild under conditions that allow them to survive in freedom. Recovery is carried out in special facilities (rehabilitation chambers, flight parks) according to a plan that is established according to the species, age, origin and physical condition of the bird. Shots from hunters, roadkill or collisions with vehicles, collisions with electric or telephone cables and captivity are the main causes that lead to admission to this center. Animals in recovery cannot be visited as they should not be accustomed to the human presence. But the center has, in the annex building, an interpretation room with information about the work done here.
